Frequently asked questions
How is the required final score calculated?
It uses: needed = (target − current × (1 − weight)) ÷ weight, where weight is the final's share of your grade. That's the score on the final that makes your weighted average reach your target.
What if it says I need more than 100%?
Then your target isn't reachable from the final alone — you'd need extra credit or a higher-weighted assessment. Try a slightly lower target.
What if the needed score is negative?
That means you've already secured your target — even a zero on the final keeps you at or above your goal.
