There are two kinds of link. The basic link is self-contained: the card's names, message, colors, and photo are encoded into the link itself, so it works without us keeping anything. When you share from the editor, we instead create a short link (ohotool.com/c/…) and store the card behind it — that is what keeps the link tidy on WhatsApp, lets you see that the card was opened, and makes RSVP replies possible, since a guest's response has to be saved somewhere for the host to read it. You can delete a saved card from your dashboard at any time, which removes it along with its replies. With the Pro pass, wedding-type invitations can grow into a full scrolling website — countdown, event schedule, photo gallery, your own music, and RSVP — and those gallery photos are stored so your guests can see them.
