Screen Recorder

Record your screen in the browser — no watermark, no time limit, nothing uploaded.

Record your screen, a window, or a browser tab — with system audio and your microphone if you want — entirely in your browser. No sign-up, no watermark, and no time limit. The recording is created on your device and never uploaded, then you download it as a video file.

You’ll pick a screen, window, or tab next. Tick “Share audio” in the prompt to capture system sound. Nothing is uploaded — it records on your device.

Runs entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded.

Frequently asked questions

Is it really free and without a watermark?

Yes — no sign-up, no watermark, and no time limit. Unlike many recorders, it records locally in your browser, so there's nothing to pay for and nothing uploaded.

Does it record audio and my microphone?

Yes. Tick 'Share audio' in the browser prompt to capture system/tab sound, and turn on the microphone toggle to add narration. Both are mixed into the recording.

Why is the file a .webm?

Browsers record to WebM. It plays in most players and browsers — and if you need MP4, you can convert it for free with our Video to MP4 tool.

Does it work on my phone?

Screen recording uses a browser feature that's only available on desktop browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox). On a phone, use your device's built-in screen recorder.
